Adele doesn’t want to look like the type of women on Lagerfelds catwalk

Adele hits back after Karl Lagerfeld’s ‘too fat’ comment. ‘I represent the majority of women and I’m very proud of that.’ She has declared that she is ‘proud’ of her image as a representative of real women and that she’s never aspired to look like the type of women that Lagerfeld sends down his catwalks.
In an interview with People magazine, the 23-year-old says: ‘I’ve never wanted to look like models on the cover of magazines. I represent the majority of women and I’m very proud of that.’
Adele: ‘I don’t want to be some skinny mini with my t*** out. I really don’t want to do it and I don’t want people confusing what it is that I’m about.’ UsWeekly has reported.
Hopefully this will no longer be a point of discussion anymore! It’s about the voice and not about her weight!

  • Go Adele! The prevalence of celebrity culture has blurred the lines between artists and socialites. Adele in a singer, a good one at that and her job is to sing. This comment by Mr Lagerfeld should be reserved for socials who want to be famous for their looks. Even then, he has no right to judge. If he doesn’t want “fat” people to wear his clothes then let him keep making them in zeros. To hell with fashions that don’t love us back.
