Welcome back, Adele!
Finally you are back, Adele! ‘Hello’ was released on October 23rd 2015. I adore Adele a lot! And waiting 5 years for a new album… is a loooong time! The 1st song is amazing! Adele, you look fantastic in the video. Only a lot of head shots… no close ups of your total look…
‘Hello’ is the first single off of Adele’s third studio album, 25. In a tweet, Adele called 21 a ‘break-up record’ and 25 a ‘make-up record’.
Four years after her groundbreaking 21, Adele examines the past and tries to right her wrongs. On the surface, ‘Hello’ is about a break-up from long ago, but the song can also be interpreted as Adele’s attempt at reconciliation with her former self.
Adele has also recently reconciled with her formerly estranged father Mark Evans who walked out on three-year-old Adele and her mother in 1991, but has since begged Adele to speak to him again and allow him to meet Angelo (Evans was diagnosed with bowel cancer in 2012
Adele’s “Hello” music video broke the Vevo record for the most views, 25 million times in less than 24 hours!
“Hello, it’s me, I was wondering
If after all these years you’d like to meet to go over everything
They say that time’s supposed to heal, yeah
But I ain’t done much healing
Hello, can you hear me?
I’m in California dreaming about who we used to be
When we were younger and free
I’ve forgotten how it felt before the world fell at our feet
There’s such a difference between us
And a million miles…..

Some cool things about the video by Bustle:
1. That Darn Flip Phone
The use of flip-flop phones is coherent with the rest of my work. I can’t get my head around filming iPhones — they’re too real, too identifiable with our everyday lives.
2. The Video Was Shot In Secret
The six-minute video was shot primarily on location at a desolate farm outside Montreal, Canada.
3. Adele’s Coat Is One Of A Kind
The coat that launched a thousand Internet searches will be tough to find since, according to the director, it’s one of a kind. He explained, ‘I saw that piece of fabric in a couture shop so there’s only one,’
4. Adele Cried When She First Heard “Hello” On The Radio
Considering every other human being on the planet cried when they heard this song, it would make sense that, according to BBC, Adele cried when she first heard the “Hello” played on BBC1 Radio. “Hello” does that to people, it’s just that powerful.
