Inbetweenie Louise O’Reilly was crowned ‘Best International Fashion Blogger’ by Cosmopolitan UK! I am so proud of her! Well done, gorgeous! You deserved it! And so great, a blogger who promotes size diversity winning this award! She’s also a model at Models1 and her blog Stylemecurvy. Models1curve did a little interview with Louise, here are the questions and beautiful answers.
How does it feel to have won the Cosmopolitan Blog Awards? I’m feeling extremely overwhelmed. I don’t think it has sunk in yet. Haha! It was a joint award from Cosmopolitan UK and the IFB. Cosmopolitan UK are great advocates for supporting diversity in fashion and body image, so winning the award means the world to me for what my blog represents. The IFB ( International Fashion Bloggers Community) are the biggest platform and resource in the world for fashion bloggers, so it is a bit surreal today.
What is your blog about? My blog is about fashion and beauty for every kind of curve. Working as a plus size model with so many amazing people in the fashion industry I wanted to show that style should have no boundaries whether you are a size 6 or 26. It’s about embracing the body you have and loving it.
What do you think makes a good blog? A good blog is something that you are passionate about. Posts should be original, with your own style of writing. It can be on anything in the world but once you love your topic and you product good quality content that is the most important thing. It’s about quality not quantity.. And a lot of hard work! 🙂
What advice would you give to other bloggers? If you have an idea, no matter how small, big or silly you think it might be just go for it.
What do you want for the future? That’s a very tough question!! Haha. At the moment I will keep working hard on the blog and to keep working internationally as a plus size model. Together I hope to persuade more brands to showcase fashion for all sizes.
