Melissa McCarthy’s new ‘every-woman’ clothing line

Actress and comedian Melissa McCarthy’s new clothing line.

Melissa McCarthy is only 1.57 m and size 48 EU, 18 US. Not even such a big size. The same as Rebel Wilson. Lately Melissa has lost a lot of weight. She is one of the only actresses in her size who appears on the red carpet all the time. And I think that’s a really good thing! And her style has improved a lot! I love the 3 dresses above!

Named Melissa McCarthy Seven7, the fun, comfortable designs are reported to be available in sizes 4 to 28. “I’m not sure why everyone is calling it a “plus-size” line. I think that calling it an “every-woman line” is way more accurate, modern and cool, but that’s just my opinion.” So cool she says it’s for everyBODY and every size! There is beauty in all of us and it’s fresh to see that designers and retailers are opening up to women of all sizes. Acceptance is half the battle, making beautiful clothes for everyone is the other half. Beautiful vision… and this is how fashion should be! Because every woman in every size has the right to look amazing!

A sneak peek of her clothing line, Melissa McCarthy Seven7:

The 44-year-old McCarthy says that she’s having the time of her life and that she created the line in order to empower women, to build a better closet for herself, to address those clothing issues that have bugged her, to provide sleeves and pockets to those of us who embrace them and “because women do not stop at size 12,” McCarthy said. “I’m trying to give women a closet that gives them some variety.”

She also says that she is inspired by what she enjoys wearing. “You look much better when you’re comfy.”
“It’s an odd thing that you can’t go shopping with your friends because your store is upstairs hidden by the tire section. ‘We’ll put you gals over there because we don’t want to see you and you probably don’t want to be seen.'”

The details are sketchy, but the casual sportswear line will launch in August. The affordable line will be available at Macy’s, Lane Bryant, HSN and on her site, Prices are reported to range from $59 to $159.

I think it will be a very casual line, basics… but that’s fine to start with! Very curious… how it will look like!
