Sexy models in different sizes
Swimsuit illustrated 2017, is a very special edition! Next to the straight size sexy models, we see some other familiar faces. Women with swim bodies in other sizes! We see real size diversity. Wow! Great to see… Kate Upton, Ashley Graham, Myla Dalbesio. And also Hunter McGrady and tennis star Serena Williams!
In 2012 it was a big thing that Kate Upton was a model in Vogue US, because she was voluptuous… and look now! Kate is compared to Ashley, Hunter And Myla very small… So.. the industry is more and more ready to show size diversity! Sexy is not a size…
The only thing, the models are all wearing very small bikini tops, haha.. I know… it’s a men’s calendar. And why is Hunter body painted? But… who cares? I love this mix of models, have a look and enjoy!
Ashley Graham
Ashley Graham definitely has no problem showing off her curvy figure, and she certainly isn’t shy about letting the world know that beauty comes in all shapes and sizes. “Getting on the cover of Sports Illustrated has completely changed my life,” Ashley said. “Now I’m being told ‘Actually yes, you are beautiful. You are the epitome of what should be apart of diversity and change in the fashion industry.”
Myla Dalbesio
Myla tells about how much she loves women, how hard she is pushing to change things in the industry.
“I want more for us all,” she tells. “More diversity. More sizes, more shapes, more races. It’s hard here,” Myla says.
Hunter McGrady
It wasn’t until Hunter found inspiration from models like Robyn Lawley that she realized beauty couldn’t be defined by the size of her waistline. Now, she’s made it her mission to encourage women everywhere to embrace the skin they’re in—and we couldn’t be more obsessed with her message!
“My main goal is to get across to women that you are able to love your body at any size and that you’re sexy and beautiful at any size. Beauty is not a size and I’m really happy that the industry is accepting body diversity,” Hunter said.
Serena Williams
“I’m not a size two. It’s okay to look good and feel good and I’m strong. It’s okay to look strong and to be sexy and to be a woman and to be unbreakable — all those things. I really want to have that influence for people out there that have my body type. I want them to be like, ‘I look good too.’ That’s what I hope for.”
