Are these 5 plus models changing the fashion?
The latest issue of Bust magazine includes an activewear shoot with a twist. All of the models are considered “plus size” by the modeling industry.
The ALDA modeling agency: a group of women aiming to represent beauty in all sizes. The ALDA women are: Ashley Graham, Danielle Redman, Inga Eiriksdottir, Julie Henderson, and Marquita Pring. Photographed by Danielle St. Laurent for BUST Magazine. Amazing to see what this groups doing. Showing that average size women… are gorgeous, model and are healthy. This shoot is to promote the idea that women can be healthy and fit at any size.
These models are a great reflection of the women in the real world. And I agree that these women should be showed next tp straight size women in the fashion industry, the media, runways and please… also in the music industry and don’t forget in Hollywood!
Ashley Graham: “If you want to call me plus size, that’s fine. But on the end of the day, I know who I am, I know I am a model!”
Marquita Pring: “there’s no such thing as the perfect body. A thin woman is beautiful, a curvy woman is beautiful, and everything in-between is beautiful.” Yes…. every women is gorgeous… size diversity in fashion is the future!
“Every body is beautiful and every body is different,” said Danielle Redman. “Some people are meant to be a size negative zero and some people are meant to be a size 16.”
