Time’s up: why we wear black!

The red carpet at the 75th Golden Globes has been dominated by one colour: black.
The Golden Globe Awards signaled a major shift away from the traditional Hollywood red carpet, with stars wearing black in a show of solidarity with the #MeToo movement and activists accompanying celebrities to the ceremony. Without colorful gowns and attention-grabbing outfits at their disposal, many sought out subtler expressions of personal style.
In the week before the ceremony, hundreds of females in film – actresses, directors, producers and agents – signed up to the Time’s Up campaign, shining the spotlight on gender equality in the workplace. Actresses wore black gowns in support of the Time’s Up movement, standing in solidarity with victims of sexual assault and harassment. “The clock has run out on sexual assault, harassment and inequality in the workplace” Time’s up stands for equality: gender, age, color and size! And look at these gorgeous women below, women in different ages, color and sizes… When Hollywood will change, the fashion industry will change! And that’s a HUGE step!
